When Frank Pepe Pizzeria opened in Fairfield in March 2006, it marked the first time in 81 years that the family had brought their coal-fired apizza outside of New Haven. Fairfield was a natural choice — a Connecticut community with strong roots and a serious appetite for great food. Located on Commerce Drive, this was the location that proved the Frank Pepe Pizzeria model could open in new communities without losing its magic. The same 104,000-pound coal-fired brick oven.
