Frank Pepe Pizzeria Virginia debut came in July 2022 when the Alexandria location opened, giving the Washington DC metro area a second option alongside Bethesda and expanding the brand's presence across the DMV region. Alexandria has become one of the most enthusiastic Frank Pepe Pizzeria markets — a city with a strong food culture, a deep connection to New England (many residents came from CT, MA, and RI), and a pizza appetite that's finally being met at the level it deserves. The coal-fired oven is here, the White Clam Pizza is on the menu, and the 1925 dough recipe is very much alive in Northern Virginia.
