Frank Pepe Pizzeria made its Massachusetts debut in December 2015 when the Chestnut Hill location opened at 199 Boylston Street inside The Mall at Chestnut Hill. The Boston area had long been a source of loyal Frank Pepe Pizzeria fans — many of them Yale students and alumni who'd discovered apizza during their New Haven years — and the Chestnut Hill location finally gave them a home.
